Dr. Feng and his research group focus primarily on emerging semiconductor devices and integrated systems, and he has received numerous awards including the prestigious NSF CAREER Award. For this week seminar, we will have Dr, Sae Miller talking about "Research Overview & Thermo–Acoustic Combustion Instability"

 

Abstract:

This presentation contains two parts. The first includes an overview of the PI’s research program, students, and teaching. The second discusses combustion instability, which causes rocket and jet engine failure. We will examine important equations for combustion instability and combustion acoustics.

Mayur Ghatge selected finalist for the Outstanding Paper Award-Oral at Transducers 2019, Berlin

Congratulations to Mayur Ghatge for being selected as the finalist for 'Outstanding Paper Award' in Oral category at The 20th International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems (TRANSDUCERS 2019). He was selected for the demonstration of thinnest ever reported transducer based on 10nm ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide film.
