Connor S. Smith is a PhD candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Florida working under Prof. David P. Arnold. His research interests include electromagnetics, magnetic materials, magnetic nanocomposites, and microfabrication. After his PhD has been completed, he would like to pursue a career in academia where he can continue working in the areas of electromagnetics and microfabrication while also being able to teach the next generation of engineering students.
- Microfabrication (layout, lithography, sputtering, etching, and metallization)
- Magnetic nanocomposites
- Magnetic materials
