Topic: Introduction to Python for research (part 1)
This workshop is an introduction to how Python can be used for your research. It will show you how to quickly learn Python and get started on taking advantages of various free and open sources modules/libraries that are available for scientific computing. No prior knowledge of Python is needed. Members that currently use R or MATLAB would greatly benefits from attending this workshop. Existing IMG members using Python are encouraged to attend because this workshop is interactive and collaborative, so sharing your experiences would be greatly appreciated. This workshop is the first of many workshops to come!
About IMG Workshops
The goal of these workshops are similar to IMG Seminars: learn from, explore, and collaborate with each other.
