Sheetal Shetye and Naigang Wang each earned oral presentations at the upcoming Intermag 2008 meeting in Madrid, Spain. Their respective papers are entitled, "Self-assembly of millimeter-scale components using integrated micromagnets" and "Electroplated Co-rich CoPt thick films and patterned arrays for magnetic MEMS".
The first IMG seminar of the spring semester will be on Wednesday February 20th at 11:30am in Larsen 234. Featured speakers include Dr. Mark Sheplak with the "State of IMG Address" and Ben Griffin with a tutorial on Endnote.
Congratulations to new IMG graduate Karthik Kadirvel, who finished in December after completing his dissertation, "Development of Closed-Loop Interface Circuits for Capacitive Transducers with Applications to a MEMS Capacitive Microphone."
