IMG warmly welcomes its newest faculty member—Dr. Philip Feng! Dr. Feng and his research group focus primarily on emerging semiconductor devices and integrated systems, and he has received numerous awards including the prestigious NSF CAREER Award. We believe he will be a great addition to our community!

Today, IMG hosted students from the University of Tokyo as they travel across the United States for an international workshop. We had the pleasure of sharing some of our work with these researchers and hearing about their exciting projects!

Congratulations to all of this year's IMG Award recipients, and a special thanks to all those who have contributed to our group. This year's kick-off meeting focused on the future of our group, and making it evident that "our most valuable asset is you". Let us continue working as a team and setting a precedent for research groups all around. 

The IMG Awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of student members in our organization. The research award honors the exceptional academic impact the students have made in their field, and the service award acknowledges the hard work the students have put into improving and maintaining the quality of IMG.

This weekend we celebrated our 20th Anniversary with our amazing members and faculty at Lake Wauberg. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. We look forward to another 20 years!

Dr. Stephen Senturia, retired MIT professor and author of the classic MEMS textbook "Microsystem Design", visited the MEMS II class taught by Professor David Arnold. He lectured the class on his early experiences in academia, as well as the ventures he is pursuing in his retirement.

IMG is pleased to be hosting 3 students in the inaugual Summer Undergraduate Research at Florida (SURF) program, a 10-week immersive research experience for high-performing undergrads.  The SURF cohort consists of 40 students from 23 universities in 16 states, as well as Puerto Rico. Please welcome:
