Welcome to the Newest Member of the IMG Faculty—Dr. Philip Feng

IMG warmly welcomes its newest faculty member—Dr. Philip Feng! Dr. Feng and his research group focus primarily on emerging semiconductor devices and integrated systems, and he has received numerous awards including the prestigious NSF CAREER Award. We believe he will be a great addition to our community!

IMG 2018 Kick-Off Meeting

Congratulations to all of this year's IMG Award recipients, and a special thanks to all those who have contributed to our group. This year's kick-off meeting focused on the future of our group, and making it evident that "our most valuable asset is you". Let us continue working as a team and setting a precedent for research groups all around. 

The IMG Awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of student members in our organization. The research award honors the exceptional academic impact the students have made in their field, and the service award acknowledges the hard work the students have put into improving and maintaining the quality of IMG.

SURF Students in IMG

IMG is pleased to be hosting 3 students in the inaugual Summer Undergraduate Research at Florida (SURF) program, a 10-week immersive research experience for high-performing undergrads.  The SURF cohort consists of 40 students from 23 universities in 16 states, as well as Puerto Rico. IMG Seminar Series: The IMG Website & Tutorial on the new Hybond Wirebonder

This Friday, May 24, we will have two talks at the IMG Seminar. In the first talk, Ololade Oniku will give an overview on how to use the IMG website, highlighting the functions of the IMG website and the web committee. The second talk will provide a tutorial on the new Hybond Wirebonder to be presented by William Patterson. The seminar starts at 11:00am in LAR 234 and will end before noon. All are encouraged to attend.  As usual, the talks will be followed by the IMG BBQ at noon. 

IMG Seminar Series Kickoff: Tips for Effective Oral Communication

The Summer 2013 IMG Seminar Series starts this Friday May 17. Dr. David Arnold will be presenting a talk titled: "Tips for Effective Oral Communication" from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM in LAR 234. All are encouraged to attend. Following this talk, we'll have the weekly BBQ in the Larsen-Benton courtyard.
