I am a research engineer with over 7 years of experience in the design and development of MEMS sensors and actuators and 3 years of experience of consulting in the MEMS field. I have a diverse skill set based on a foundation of fundamental multi-physics systems modeling, design optimization, robust microfabrication, and thorough device characterization. During my graduate career, I was involved in multiple MEMS transducer projects through which I was introduced to microfabrication technologies, design, packaging, and characterization.  These projects included several aeroacoustic microphones, an ultrasonic radiator, and piezoelectric proximity sensor sponsored by industry partners such as The Boeing Company and Avago Technologies Limited as well as the National Science Foundation and Sandia National Laboratories.  I have continued this research as a postdoctoral associate/.visiting researcher with the University of Florida and senior engineer with the Interdisciplinary Consulting Corporation (IC2) as well as explored new ventures in high temperature sensors, flow sensing, optical MEMS, and shock testing through projects with the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and consulting with Analog Devices Incorporated and Honeywell International, Inc.
