Nicolas Garraud's current research focuses on the design and development of instrumentation for the characterization of magnetic nanoparticle suspension dynamics, potentially leading to the development of a new medical imaging system.
His interests yield in magnetic MEMS and magnetic systems for biomedical applications. He received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from ENS Cachan (France). He has a multidisciplinary experience in the areas of optical instrumentation, micro-fabrication, magnetic characterization.
