He currently leads the custom silicon group operations at Alphawave Semi, where he is responsible for end-to-end chip operations from customers to revenue to silicon supply chain and product shipments. Prior to Alphawave, Sunil led the Operations team at SiFive, global IP technical sales at Cadence and multiple engineering roles at startups and public companies. He is passionate about the opportunities of next-generation silicon infrastructure in AI, cloud, networking, and beyond. Sunil completed his MBA from UC Berkeley, a memorable MS on Noise in MEMS Microphones under Dr. Nishida at UF and BTech from IIT Kanpur. Outside of work, Sunil enjoys movies, music and hanging out with good company and volunteers at his local schools, robotics and debate events. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife and three kids and has been dreaming about visiting UF and Florida again!
Brian Homeijer is a distinguished member of the technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) specializing in MEMS inertial sensor technologies. He is currently championing multiple efforts including the development of MEMS sensors for current and future nuclear deterrence (ND) modernization programs. He has also previously served as PI/Co-PI on multiple programs with DARPA, AFRL, DTRA, and MDA working with industry partners. Prior to working at SNL, Brian worked at Hewlett Packard Corporation where he led the design development of MEMS seismometers for oil and gas exploration. He earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
