Congratulations to IMG Professor, Dr. Xin Tang, and IMG Students, Chenyu Liang, Andrea Noy, and Erica Hengartner, on their recent recognition in the MAE Department and the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering!
Dr. Tang received the 2024 MAE Researcher of the Year Award.
PhD Student, Chenyu Liang, successfully completed his PhD defense "All-optical Mechanobiology and Electrophysiology in Cancer and Nervous Systems." In recognition of his significant research accomplishments, he received the 2024 Graduate Student Research Award from the MAE Department and the Certificate of Outstanding Merit from Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and the International Center.
Undergraduate Student, Andrea Noy, received the 2024 MAE Sung and Yvonne Lu Outstanding Senior Award. Undergraduate student, Erica Hengartner, receive the full research scholarships to conduct summer research at Cornell University and Vanderbilt University.
