Dr. Arnold and Dr. Nishida will offer the next BEN 230 Microfab chemical safety training/orientation on Monday April 1, starting at 10:00am in Dr. Arnold's office, LAR 213. Viswanath Sankar will defend his dissertation proposal, entitled "Investigation and Mitigation of Abiotic Factors Affecting Reliability of Microelectrode Arrays in Chronic Neural Implants" at 10:00am on Friday, November 16th in NEB 409. Refreshments will be provided.
Brandon Bertolucci will defend his dissertation entitled "An Experimental Investigation of the Grazing Flow Impedance Duct at the University of Florida for Acoustic Liner Applications" in Larsen 234 at 2:30 p.m.

Lin Liu will defend her dissertation proposal, entitled "Large-Scan-Range Electrothermal MEMS Micromirrors and Microlenses and Their Biomedical Imaging Applications" at 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 3rd in NEB 589. Refreshments will be provided.
The monthly training for BEN 210/214 (E-test and M-test) will be held on Monday at 9:45 AM. This training is required in order to have access to either of these labs. If you have completed this training in the past and still have swipe card access you do not need to attend.
