IMG Welcomes Henry Sodano to the Faculty

Please join us in welcoming Prof. Henry A. Sodano to the IMG Faculty.  Dr. Sodano holds a joint appointment in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department and Materials Science and Engineering department at UF.  He received his Ph.D. (2005), M.S. (2003), and B.S. (2002) degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.  Prior to joining UF, he was an assistant professor at Arizona State University (2007-2010) and, before that, Michigan Technological University (2005-2007).  Dr. Sodano's research interest lie at the boundaries between materials science and engineering, and his current research focuses on energy harvesting, nanotechnology, hybrid composites, and multifunctional materials.
