Dr. Yingying Wu has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida since August 2023. She was a Postdoctoral Associate and Fellow at the Center for Integrated Quantum Materials (CIQM) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to that, she received both her M.Phil. and Bachelor's degrees in Physics. Dr. Wu's research focuses on exploring spintronic devices for quantum and neuromorphic computing, combining both experimental and simulation-based approaches. Her work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the NSF CAREER Award (2025), the UF Research Opportunity Seed Fund (ROSF) Award (2024), and the IBM Pat Goldberg Memorial Best Paper Award (2023), among others.
