IMG is excited to have strong representation at this year’s Solid-State Sensors, Actuators, and Microsystems Workshop in Hilton Head, South Carolina! Congratulations to Drs. Sheplak, Tabrizian, and Feng on $6.6M DARPA Funding!

A diverse team led by three ECE Florida faculty members is set to receive funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to design and fabricate dynamic pressure sensors capable of performing at temperatures upwards of 800 °C (1472 °F), over a factor of 6X higher than any integrated pressure sensor currently in use. The $6.6M project, funded as part of the DARPA 

IMG Olympics

Another four years have gone by, and the Summer Olympics are back to recognize the world’s best athletes while simultaneously wreaking havoc on its host city’s infrastructure. Since most of us probably can’t afford a trip to Croissant City to watch the games in person, we decided to bring the Olympics here! This year, we will have the IMG Spring Olympics, a fun-filled afternoon for IMG members to unwind and engage in some friendly competition. The event will be held on Friday, 4/26 @ 3:30 pm at the SW Rec Softball Fields.
