Description
Objectives
  • Measure the shedding frequencies behind a flat elliptical airfoil
  • Using shear stress as an input, control the flow via synthetic jets
  • Devise scaling laws to relate frequencies, velocity and separation control
Goals
  • Actively control separation on the surface of a flat plate at high Reynolds numbers using shear stress/synthetic jet feedback system.
