Description
Objectives
- Measure the shedding frequencies behind a flat elliptical airfoil
- Using shear stress as an input, control the flow via synthetic jets
- Devise scaling laws to relate frequencies, velocity and separation control
Goals
- Actively control separation on the surface of a flat plate at high Reynolds numbers using shear stress/synthetic jet feedback system.
