Description
Detailed aeroacoustic and fluid dynamic experiments is currently being conducted on a circulation control (CC) model in the University of Florida Aeroacoustic Flow Facility (UFAFF). The 20.5 in. chord, 44 in. span CC airfoil is outfitted with an array of 68 DASH 1 Dynamco actuators in its interior plenum for control of unsteady blowing through its trailing edge slot and over the Coanda surface. Experiments are conducted in tandem with a detailed computational study of both the fluidic and acoustic behaviors of the model.
