Description
A DU96-W-180 wind turbine airfoil has been designed and fabricated for use in the UF Aeroacoustic Flow Facility (UFAFF). Detailed fluid and acoustic measurements will be conducted on the airfoil to characterize its baseline noise signature. Differing trailing edge treatments will then be installed on the model, and all measurements repeated, to characterize potential noise reduction.
